Consistency = Results. This is one of our favorite sayings at studio47 Pilates. Consistency goes a long way… and small changes can make a big impact! While taking action is how you get started, consistent action is what leads to real, lasting changes and results.
Here are our three little hacks for staying consistent:
- Schedule your sessions ahead of time: looking ahead at your schedule and planning your workouts, makes us much more likely to show up, get that sweat in, and feel great.
2. Keep track of your progress and how you’re feeling: Like most things in life, the benefits of Pilates are slow and steady, but being able to hold that plank longer, get deeper in to a stretch, or even try a new class format is something to be proud of. Keep track of your progress – even if it feels slow, it’s happening! (we promise!)
3. Pilates is ONE-STOP-SHOP: For us ‘multi-taskers’ Pilates really does it all. We like to think of Pilates as a one-stop-shop = strength and mobility training, balance, posture work and stretching (just to name a few) all in one session. Strength, flexibility and injury-prevention is a huge part of Pilates, so continue to show up for yourself.
We hope these three little tricks will help you to stay consistent in your Pilates routine. Remember, consistency goes a long way!
